HAVE A GO -I enjoy passing on my knowledge and now offer one off tuition. Nothing formal, no set days or times just contact me and we can arrange a convenient time for us both. You can come as often or as little as you like ~ PAYG. £17:00 per hour.
Everything is provided, but any firing is extra, normally in the region of £7:00 per item depending on size and this includes any glazing.
You will be shown how to centre and pull up the clay to form a cylinder, going on to make a bowl.
You will be encouraged along the way, and everyone can manage a small bowl with help.
There is no age limit, but I suggest 8 to 80 is a good place to start.
